Some people say this world needs another make up line like the Kardashians need another sister. Or another Kardashian sister WITH a make up line. Truth is, the cosmetics clique is definitely one flooded market. Fortunately there’s room for Westman Atelier a clean and chic capsule collection by international makeup guru Gucci Westman
For someone like me who doesn’t have the desire to make “great make up” my second full time job, the range is perfect – foundation, bronzer, highlighter, contour, and brush sticks.
In a tale we have heard before but, in this instance is actually true, Westman couldn’t find the products she was looking for. The foundation is a personal fave and is presented in an easy to use stick form, providing a light but seamless coverage. Several of the products are multi use including the aptly name Baby Cheek Blush which doubles as a neutral lipstick. The collection is complemented by a range of premium brushes – foundation, blender and powder.. Each product is perfectly packaged in pastel tones with magnetic closing.
The range is also free from silicones, parabens and synthetic fragrances and are vegan and cruelty free.
Whilst in an ideal world I’d love Ms Westman to actually apply my make up in her unique ‘no make up, make up’ style, this range comes a pretty close second and infinitely more cost effective !
