Which is why I was relieved to find Carbon 38, a one stop luxury active apparel shop with a distinct urban vibe.

Founded by two over achievers (classically trained dancers turned Harvard grads in fact), Carbon 38 showcases an impressive collection of athletic oriented fashion including tops, pants, outerwear, sweaters, swimwear and shoes.

Launched in 2003 the LA based cyberstore stocks more than 70 labels – from big names to niche lines.

The store also sells its own collection of branded apparel including tanks, leggings and sports bras.

Sure I may never master a headstand and, let’s face it, a 7am class was never really gonna happen, but thanks to Carbon 38 I can look good trying.
